  1. I always play from the forward tees. My average tee shot is between 240-250. Sometimes I’ll get a good one over 280 if the fairway doesn’t have as thick kf spongey crab grass. Anyways, I still struggle to break 80 consistently and have a best round of 76. My plan is to play the froward tees until I can shoot the course rating. Which is 67 for the forward tees at my local course. I think anyone over a 10 handicap should be playing forward tees… then 5-10 handicaps can play the middle. And under 5 is the tips. But that’s just my opinion.

  2. Best part of the video was Zach cracking himself up after reminding you guys you said you were “Going low” today. Priceless.

  3. As a low handicap golfer, I like to see good golf too. Any chance you can find a pro or low handicap golfer to join you guys? If not the concept, I get it.

  4. I know a couple kids growing up who learned to be great golfers by starting from the front tees. Their father would not let them move back until they could break par from the forward tees, then they moved back to the members, then the men’s tees, and eventually the tips.

  5. MIKE’S shot from the fringe on #6 is a putt every single day from that spot, and his putt there goes long from June-October.

  6. Play from the forward tees and don't use a driver on any hole. Watch how better yall score!

  7. You’ll need a rematch when it isn’t so windy. The 2 club wind really throws your game off.
I’ve always wanted to play from the front tees to see what I’d shoot, but none of my buddies will try it with me 😢.

  8. I did this with my daughter. I was just teaching the game to her but I found that my sweet yardage was 81 and 99 yards. To this day I play to those numbers. Great idea boys!

  9. I think Frankie should be playing 4 if he plays from there. If you play 3 off the tee, you wouldn't play 3 from 250 yards up? It is a red stake so that may change the ruling

  10. played a tournament that was a red,white ,and blue for July 4th didn't change much 😂😂

  11. We’re gonna have a lot of chances for eagle today…. Both make bogey on the first 🤣😂

  12. Hole in one from the front tees is like getting a hooker. Every bit as enjoyable but not something you're gonna be bragging about.

  13. This would be so fun, would be curious of the reactions you’d get if people let you play through and go up to the red tees haha.

  14. Definitely off the front tees makes you think more about position of your next shot. Sometimes taking an iron off the tee for position can be beneficial Great stuff!!!

  15. I play from the whites but sometimes I’ll play the par 3’s from the blues if the yardage is low like 130 and under just so it’s more than a PW off the tee

  16. I enjoyed the video, thanks! I wouldn't mind seeing the same challenge again, but on a day where the wind wasn't such a factor. Seems like the wind more than offset any benefit you may have gotten from playing shorter holes, so the title question really wasn't answered. Good point at the start about short game still being dominant in the outcome, though.

  17. Really enjoyed this one!! Def do some more of these at some more “inviting” courses. Courses that def promote better scoring.
