New Details In The Deshaun Case That The Media Doesn't Want You To Hear!

Garrett Bush host of the Barbershop and the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show discusses new revelations in the Deshaun Watson sexual assault case. It is starting to look as if the Cleveland Browns quarterback may not see a suspension until 2023. Two sources familiar with the relationship between lawyers who handle civil cases between 22 women and Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Brown’s defender, have told Yahoo Sports that it is now expected that all trials will be postponed until 2023.

Sources said that Tony Buzbee – the lawyer representing 22 women who are suing Watson for alleged sexual offenses or sexual violence – and Rusty Hardin, Watson’s chief defense attorney, could not agree on any issues. The result has pushed the timeline for proceedings to the extent that it would now likely violate the agreed moratorium between 1 August 2022 and 1 March 2023.

Among the issues: Buzbee and Hardin have not agreed on which issues should be dealt with first between the plaintiffs Ashley Solis and Lauren Baxley. Both parties also have more discoveries ahead in the case and Watson still has some precipitations left, including at least six in June.

But probably the biggest stalemate left – apart from the courts and holiday plans for both Buzbee and Hardin – is that the presentation of the cases could make the trial considerably longer than expected. Sources said Buzbee is considering presenting evidence of the other plaintiffs’ allegations in each case, which would then lead Hardin to respond to each allegation in a cross-examination and by the presentation of evidence. Finally, one source said that back and forth could “stretch the trial for 6 to 8 weeks.

If it’s the right timeline, it means that Watson’s first civil trial will have to start proceedings before June 1, in the hope of completing the case before the August 1 hearing. It also means that if all 22 cases go to court, Watson could be bound in court well into 2023. For now, that simply means that all 22 of Watson’s civil cases will be dismissed by 2023, with the first trials scheduled for March next year.

It’s been a whirlwind of a calendar year for Baker Mayfield. This time last offseason, he was coming off of a 2020 campaign where he helped lead the Browns to the playoffs and advance to the divisional round. Fast forward through the 2021 season, during which Cleveland went under .500 and was on the outside looking in on the playoffs, and Mayfield is now on the outs with the Browns after the team pulled off a blockbuster trade to land Deshaun Watson in a deal with the Houston Texans.

That acquisition of Watson effectively ended Mayfield’s time with the Browns, despite him still being on the roster as the club looks to trade him to some other QB-needy team. What team that is, however, remains a mystery.

Mayfield played through injuries last season, which contributed to a dip in his stats. He was placed on injured reserve at the tail end of the season and underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum. At full strength, the former No. 1 overall pick in 2018 was able to put up solid numbers. Back in 2020, his first season under head coach Kevin Stefanski, he posted a career-best 95.9 passer rating and has 26 touchdowns to just eight interceptions (career-low).

Of course, the question now turns to where Mayfield will play next. Looking at the current landscape, there are not a ton of avenues for him to be a plug-and-play Week 1 starter. Seattle has been a popular pick after it traded away Russell Wilson and didn’t take a quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft, but Pete Carroll dismissed that idea earlier this month. So, while Burrow may be in Mayfield’s corner, we haven’t yet seen a team that feels the same way enough to pluck him off Cleveland’s roster.

  1. over 20 women… who in the right mind could evn think about him not being guiltiy

  2. When I read info on cases like this one or Bill Cosby and in some instances women are coming back around 2 and 3 times after initial incidents I say your crazy or full of it.

  3. Straight Ether 🔥 Salute for presenting facts over feelings, speaking on the bias against black QBs and challenging others to not give such lazy repetitive takes

  4. I like the feedback. I'm all about Watson as the Browns QB. Huge upgrade. But people who don't want him as the QB is because of the allegations first and foremost. Secondly, people loved Baker. I've never heard anyone say they don't want a black QB, not one. If Deshaun came over with a clean reputation he'd be hailed as a God.

  5. Wow this is crazy. She needs to be held accountable for her actions. Especially if it really comes out an all this was fake.

  6. I could care less if Watson cornholed a crippled bottom line he's a substantial upgrade over 1 read mayfield.watsons guilty of being a dumbass if anything.i don't care about the color of my QB.as long as he's a beast.

  7. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 these women had no problem with Watson until the tyrant Napoleonic buzzbee got involved.that alone tells me this is a money grabb.theres a reason 2 GJs didn't indict him.they knew it was al about the 💰

  8. I worked for a top criminal defense attorney for 7 years out of law school. When a Grand Jury(which will and do indict everything) comb through 22 separate charges and there are no charges……something very weird is up. Maybe it has something to do with the all of the women being represented by 1 attorney who happens to be the McNairs' neighbor and best friend. Either way, it's unheardof to get 22 charges thrown at you and not a single 1 stick. Go ahead and find a single case with over 10 where 1 didn't stick. Trust me……something is not right with these plaintiffs story

  9. As much as I disliked this dude during his college days being an osu fan, how has this guy been a model citizen up until the point where he demanded a trade?

  10. REDSKINS OWNER DRAG A FEMALE TO THE CAR, HIS LAWYER TOLD HIM NO! NOBODY ISN'T SAY SHIT ABOUT THAT BRO
    GTFOH

  11. Elon Musk not black so, you definitely won't get them to act in a cord. No matter what they say the proof is in the pudding. I guarantee you it's not 22 women. Somebody was just trying to line their pockets, and extort my man to the day he died.

  12. I understand what you are saying and might be right, but there’s a significant difference between millions and billions. A better comparison would be Deshaun versus Peyton and Big Ben.

  13. Excellent commentary Bro! You just got another subscriber based on this video.. I like your non-biased approach..

  14. Thank you sir for this maybe finally all of or some of Watson's haters can finally shut the hell up so sick of Watson being accused without any proof any wrongdoing.

  15. Oh come on man. Don't start making this about race. I don't know ANYONE who gives a damn about what color the quarterback is as long as he's winning.

  16. I came here to simply hear information on the cases. So far, and 20 minutes in, all we’ve gotten is outrage, man emotion, whatabout-ism, and passive aggressive accusations of racism. Where are the facts man.. just give us the information and let us decide. You have a lens you are trying to look at this through and you’re not going to be able to be unbiased. That’s fine. Just give us the facts. Your just venting. Give Information.

  17. Why did you say, “…as a black man in society…” ? Why say black man? You a man aren’t you? Do you think it’s different for white men in society? Man is man. You a man period

  18. He admitted in his deposition that he sexually harassed one of the women. The Browns' didn't give a shit about people's possible pain.
