THE LYING ZERO BREAK 90 SYSTEM IS SIMPLE. YOU JUST PLAY THE HOLE FROM AFTER YOUR TEE SHOT. THE FIRST SHOT COUNTS AS ZERO. THAT IS HOW EASY GOLF IS. IMAGINE WHAT YOU WOULD DO IF YOU HAD A FREE SHOT OFF THE TEE. THATS THE LYING ZERO SYSTEM FOR BREAKING 90 IN GOLF CONSISTENTLY.

  1. Matt ,I wore a Hawaiian shirt and a bucket hat for the first time in honor of the way of the playa , shot the best score of my life, 91

  2. Never thought about fomo in golf before, I do so many stupid shots because of it

  3. I just swapped out my Mizuno JPX921 Hot Metal Pro irons for some Srixon ZX7s…never looking back, the Srixons are 🔥

  4. Brilliant idea format Matt, Bdog crunching those 7irons 180-200yds wow…me Max 145-150yds but now I'm 63yrs…16hcap. Love you guys…WaddaTeam cheers thnks So Much

  5. feels like bdog would benefit from a 58 degree rather than a 60 degree around that 100 yard mark. seems the swing on the 100yard 60 degree is a bit vicious.

  6. V/O playa addin some spice to the vid "IF IT'S NICE-AH, HIT IT TWICE-AH"
Very keen to get back to the course and use just a comfortable club off the tee

  7. Matt, where did you get the blue/with white stars shirt? Love it, but been searching for 3 hours!! Please reply!!!

  8. You raised a face point. If I could play a 420 yrd par 4 from my second shot I would have 140 yrs or less each time. So basically a par 3 as a par 4.

This will help with getting better with scoring clubs all around.

  9. I wish I had a golf buddy like Golf Sidekick! My golf friends basically just embarrass me and cause me various amounts of frustration.

  10. We played something similar to this when I was growing up.
We played everything as a par 5, so if you shot 42 on the front 9 you were 3 under 5's and mentally it helped us feel better about how we were playing. Instead of feeling bad about being 6 over par, your brain interprets the 3 under 5's as a positive thing and helped us get better. When we began to consistently break 40 on either 9, so 6 under 5's or better, we switched to playing against par. It immensely improved my game at a young age, and gave us a competitive mindset too.

  11. Obviously no disrespect to Bdawgs swing, he hit them beautifully – but was surprised by the zx7’s instead of zx5’s. Was under the impression they were significantly harder to hit. Srixon make awesome irons so they’re probabaly forgiving as fuck also. Loved this vid, bdawg looked like a new player compared to the last vids

  12. Going to try this tomorrow. Was 2" short on the 18th pin of a 43 on the back 9. I'm so close to being there

  13. I do really well thinking that way I too hate 50-75 yard shots so instead of going for par 5s in second shot. I try to get to 90-125 yards in for a full shot

  14. This is something I've learned from you years ago. If I play for a bogey especially after I hit a bad shot I end up with a lot more par putts. Why so much hate for the KBS shafts playa

  15. I love this concept! Anything that can trick the brain into not feeling stressed is helpful.

I bought the same bucket hat that B Dog is wearing along with a few other goodies that arrived in Canada today within only two days of ordering . Unbelievably fast delivery – my mind is blown. And the quality of the hat, shirt, and head covers I got are top notch. I’m a customer for life!

  16. Old as Jack Nicklaus. Not Jack Nicholson, he's the actor. Lyin' Zero, never heard of it. Interesting concept for sure.

  17. I don't like that b dog uses his 60 for longer chips. He needs to watch your chipping video.
I also have a question about his grip. He is gripping all the way down to the bottom of the grip. Does he realize that or is it habit?

  18. for the next video with B-dog, please have him use an 8 or 9 iron around the greens (instead of 60 degree)….i'm curious to see results

  19. After yr tee shot yr line ZERO……cheers Matt again I myself need that when playing g with mates….as it's always from them, Why you laying up again instead of going for it. Damm then I pull hook for trying to smash it…I'm trying but oh it's hard to keep the boggie man out of yr head sometimes

  20. Sticking to the plan is always the test. I always find myself daydreaming on a par four tee and end up getting out a club I know I won’t hit as well as I do at the range and then end up scrambling to try and shoot a papa doubley

  21. If I played like this I'd shoot par. I feel bad using my handicap too add up my score at the end of the day. I feel like I need to shoot par everytime I play, which I do not & have never! I have had some 79s 82s last week back nine 3 under after 6 holes. All to say golf is hard. Ordering some gear this morning, nice polos, love the birds of paradise & the Feather pitch mark fixer is cool. I'm buying some stuff. Thanks for all the tips & for helping people you don't know.

  22. hilarious you say that about the off the course then on the course.

just read the 7 habits of highly effective people and they all pertain to golf; golf is similar to life.

the mind: thinking about what you need to do and being self aware in your ability.

the body: physically doing, practicing and perfecting an action.

the soul: the ability to not get too high, to not get too low, and to know that it's just another day in paradise.

  23. At the 18 hdcp stage of my golf career I went with the 5 on every hole plan. Par 3's and 4's (14 holes) were easiest to shave strokes. Played the 4 remaining par 5's smarter, not harder. Started shooting mid to low 80's with the ease of a Playa.

  24. Man dude I am definitely gonna try this next time I go out…I believe this is a game changer very glad to see this…thanks man

  25. If eetsa niiiice…..you play eeet twice. Also love how Matt has taken to complimenting those of us in the US by saying ‘runnerrrrrr’ instead of that bastardized Queen’s English nonsense of ‘runn-uh’. He’s comin’ around nicely, as they say.

  26. B-Dog needs to change his grip asap. That right hand is not good.

  27. I really like the idea of this system.
I guess you can then evolve it to work into the 80s by carefully picking holes where you're going to play them with 0 being the tee shot (though this doesn't always have to reflect the SI as SI16 at my course for example is a 170 yard par 3)

  28. I did this. So relax, so stress free. Almost smashed 90 first time I tried it. I assume I'll definately do it 100% the time I do do it.

  29. Matt, this really did the trick for me over the weekend. Put an "Irons Only" round of golf on the agenda and hit nothing more than a six iron. It was really nice to mentally just take a break from the stresses of par and just play a round of golf. Got one of my playing partners on this as well, and I think she liked it more than me. Thanks for yet another wonderful WAY of the Playa!

  30. BDog brings his clubface back totally closed but still makes the swing work. Im intrigued
