  1. What's the difference between wedges and wedges in an iron set. Like the Callaway Rogue do a PW, AW, GW and a SW at 56°
My last wedge is a RTX3 58° so could probably just play the full set?

  2. I think it's very important to understand bounce and use it to your advantage on the courses you play. I play a lot of different courses and they have different rough and sand. I carry a mixture of bounces so I'm prepared for whatever conditions arise. I've tried to explain it to my playing partners but their eyes glaze over and they just grab a 60° and chunk it into a bunker.

  3. I game a 60/4 based on the theory that when you need that much launch you are more likely to have a bare lie than a fluffy one because if you had a fluffy lie you would be able to use the 56 and still get enough launch and therefore should be hitting that club instead. My 56/12 is definitely easier to hit out of bunkers, there's always a tradeoff. Opened up with the handle back you can still create quite a bit of bounce on the 60/4 but it makes a short sided bunker shot harder than if I had a 60 with more bounce. I'd rather just not short side myself in a bunker than build my bag around being short sided in a bunker. With only 4 deg. of bounce It is harder to chip with the 60 with without digging but how often do you really need to chip with a 60 without it being because you have a bare lie? The 60/4 is a hard club to use so it doesn't come out of the bag unless it really needs to, which is not often.
