Contested each May, the PGA Championship is the second major championship in golf’s annual rotation, and perennially features the strongest field in the men’s game based on the Official World Golf Rankings. Known for dramatic finishes and notable champions, the Wanamaker Trophy—which has been awarded to the winner since 1916—is inscribed with names such as Koepka, McIlroy, Woods, Mickelson, Nicklaus, and Player. The 2022 PGA Championship is set to take place between 19-22 May at Southern Hills Country Club. The reigning champion is Phil Mickelson.

  1. I am reading the comments and say what you want, but this man won a US open on a broken leg, has had countless injuries and come back, a horrific car accident that would have immediately caused a man with less heart to retire, and had one of the greatest comebacks and greatest moments in sports history with the 2019 masters win. Dude has more heart and courage than most. His career is not over by a long shot.

  2. respect for tiger, but i am sick of these announcers saying that when he hits a half decent shot it's the greatest they've ever seen. and when he hits a bad shot they can come up with the lamest excuses for them. it's disgusting really. i was hoping that he wouldn't make the cut because they will show every shot he makes and ignore the leaders. i was afraid this would happen. that he would struggle today. when he made the cut it seemed to take all the wind out of his sails. and he is in a lot of pain.hope you get better tiger

  3. He’s clearly been in pain just walking this whole event. The fact he even made the cut is insane!!!

  4. In golf, "there a 1001 ways to skin a cat" and not all of them look like Bobby Jones. I think, in Tiger's case, he would profit from finding a new way, one more suited to his changed musculo-skeletal geometry and swing timing. He is no less brilliant than before. He may well figure it out.

  5. So he had a few missed puts and bad holes. It happens to all the pros sometimes. With everything he's been through a 79 is understandable. Golf is hard!
