  1. Thank you for having us on Sunday! Shame about the weather! We still had a good time, showed the TAVS spirit, drank and ate what we could 😂 have a great season guys and Roll on next years fixtures.

  2. I don't know what's more village… wearing a black coat while batting, wearing keepers pads while batting or wearing a black outfit while umpiring. 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

  3. Some wonderful village all round I contend. Yes, The Axeman Cometh by Wicked Lady a classic psyche – heavy rock album classic ( recommended) from the 1970's. More like the taxman cometh now for us older street and sward rockers. Very Saxondale ahem. Dan, you probably remembered the Midsomer Murders episode of the same name! Probably the boxset you got two years ago. Ahem.

  4. You, yes you, really must stop this tardiness.its happening to often now. It's just not cricket although the tea most certainly is

  5. i play sunday cricket in east sussex and we once played a kent sunday team who had a bloke about 65-70 who used to play county and even on these proper village tracks he stood up to everyone, even the opening bowlers with no lid or anything. and my god, still some of the best glove work i've ever seen and we had andrew hodd come back and play for us (bexhill cc)when he retired from yorkshire

  6. More than a abandoned match, i am sad not watching Mr. Derek batting ! i really enjoy it and the commentary also,.. ANd why not??? LOL !!!

  7. Hi Dan the club rejected my application to join for membership wasn't to play it was a social member, love the videos. Hope to have a mention as mad cricket lover but knowledge is no good of the game LOL. Waikiki Western Australia.

  8. would love to try a Pilgrim beer but not sure of who has the beer in Western Australia close to where I live, Waikiki close to Rockingham

  9. I don't think both teams would of minded the match being abandoned with such a awesome tea provided and a couple of (may I guess in the English sense warm) pilgrims!!!

  10. now this is more like it .. village cricket on a typical English summers day with Del prowling mid wicket like a panther well more like garfield the cat …. loved the in house banter from the club house nothing better than bagging your own team mates .. as a 60yo ex player i admire codgers older than me who still play … i am too knackered now but really miss playing now .. great stuff Dan love the channel and every thing you post

  11. Hi Dan have tried to e mail to you Re Fantacty cricket! Sorry but I can’t log on. Appreciate some help. Regards

  12. Pause at 7:00 top right corner 👀

When everyones backs are turned and noones looking you just know some of that pizza and a delicious scone or two will be snaffled up by the hungry cheeky ones nose before you can blink! 🍕🍕 🎂🎂 😋😋🤣

  13. Hi Dan, are you and the lad Kohli ever able to take us on a quick little tour, beyond the hedges, over to the Old Mill, the school and the fields etc? I'd love to see where Del's pies actually land! We dont really have these lovely little ovals down here in Australia. The grounds are often massive (and dull) by comparison, as they're also used for Aussie Rules in the winter. Loving these vids btw….its how a cricket club should be…playing just for the laughs, and lashings of post-match beer….obviously. Cheers mate.👍
