  1. How about a shot where the ball in the bunker is on a downslope (back of the bunker)? Any tips on that type of shot? One I've had the last three rounds I've had and I've really struggled with! Thanks Mark.

  2. Bunker game is fairly solid (certainly for my level) great tips tho as always. Be good to see some ideas about playing out of solid wet bunkers (like we have in the uk at the mo) very different game 👍

  3. Never even though about using lie angle to change direction with the open face. Always just used my stance to adjust. Can't wait to try this out!

  4. Play at St Andrews now (student there) and bunker play has improved hugely. Struggle with distance control around green side bunkers though

  5. great video – forgot tip when playing partners aren't looking just throw it out haha

  6. Great video MC. I have been thought the open stance, feet pointing forward, make a wish technique and always been hit and miss. This could change the world. So straight forward, clear, simple 👍

  7. Another thought….it would be good if you could discuss the”sand wedge” sometime. I know there’s lots of bounce and grind videos, all good, but what are you looking for in a good sand wedge appropriate to sand conditions ?

  8. I have always been a blader of a bunker player. I get that extra 20-30 yard shot over the green. I have gotten a little better, but still fear it. Most instruction is for the person who leaves it in the bunker. I do like your thoughts on a squarer stance, and I’ve never thought about lie angles. I’m going to hit some shots before tomorrow’s round, if the practice bunker isn’t frozen! 🥶🥶

  9. Good stuff Mark! As a 20 handicap, I’ve never really struggled out of bunkers. I play what feels like a standard 50 yard chip and move on. I find myself in a bunker maybe once a round, so I haven’t really put much time into it. Got to work on that approach play brah!

  10. Good stuff. How about a video on getting out of a bunker with little or hard sand. How not to blade a sand wedge from the middle of the fairway 40-50 yards from the pin.

  11. Have been in the practice bunker today this was game changing opened the face up dropped my hands was popping, stopping and badgering thanks Brah… Someone else has also mentioned but could you do a vid on getting out of wet compacted bunkers

  12. Maybe a stupid question but where do you look? At the ball or at your entry point into the sand?

  13. Maybe a stupid question but where do you look? At the ball or at your entry point into the sand?

  14. I wish more places with good sand and good greens were available to just practice…nice simple tips, bruh

  15. Brilliant vid Mark. Covered all the angles (no pun intended) now I just need to go and practice. Just keep them coming!

  16. I am an awful bunker player. I play off 7 with a 28 handicap greenside bunker game. Pretty good from fairway bunkers though….

  17. Thanks for this mate.Very helpful and understandable. Gives me some hope after bunker hell in medal today.
