  1. One of my favourite golfers of all time is Ben Hogan, a true legend of the game! By the way how good is this par 5!! One of my favourites I have to say…

  2. Son unos LIKESEX.Uno de los mejores conciertos ❤️ Son unos de los mejores conciertos, no puede ir pero de tan solo verlos desde pantalla 3, se que estuvoa sorprendente…

  3. I am probably missing something but when I tuck my elbow in like that my club face turns in closed so I am having to modify that a bit. I used the wrong grip for 45 years and have made it a point to use correct grip 100% this year. So the twist could be from old muscle memory right arm position. I like the tip and will keep at it
    Thanks

  4. When I try this I feel like my club face is wide open on the downswing – do I need to rotate my hands/ wrists?

  5. Alex! All excellent recommendations and drills on the right elbows role in the downswing! Since I have started to concentrate on my right elbow, my golf shots are a lot more consistent! My fairways hit with driver stat is in the 80+% range. I can tell if that elbow leaves my side because of the erratic shot that is produced.

  6. The best driver lesson I've seen! Thank you Alex!!! Give blood. Pinch the ball. Release. Hold the pose.

  7. Thanks for this! I actually found this by accident on the driving range and didn't know if it was a correct thing to do! Now I know to keep it and how to get it on the golf course.

  8. Hi Alex I boiled my total swing down to a trail side humerus double pendulum swing. Doing this; my trail elbow knows automatically which way to turn. Try it you’ll love it.

I know It sounds crazy but it is the easiest to do and most excellent swing anyone can do.

The golf swing is diagonal with simply a 1/2 step forward swing.

Yes the body turns just enough automatically so if a golfer focuses on rotating their body or go past their shoulders plane it upsets the pendulum motion and simply will not work.

Much of what I am telling you is based on Lee Comeau C motion. However in my personal opinion the only pendulum anyone can consciously use in their golf swing is the pendulum of their trail humerus bone. The lead side humerus bone pendulum is reactive to the trail side.

    Tick/Tock/ Done.

The trail upper humerus bone is the first communicator to the second pendulum; the golf club itself and in fact our entire body

In my theory It works based on something called: the parametric acceleration of a pendulum curve. These pendulum curves are produced throughout the joints inside our body. And we can only swing our club under the direction of the main pendulum of our body; our humerus bone.

The math required to understand what I just said is 100 percent true but would require a rocket science engineer to explain it. A physiologist to understand it. And all the intricacies of Sir Issac Newton 3 law of motion to support it. So I will leave all this to the geniuses of the world to explain it any further

And so in my old age i just discovered for myself the most amazing, body friendly, repeatable and accurate swing I have ever experienced in over 45 years of playing golf. I am beyond excited. And I would love for you to try it and share it on your site

    Cheers ⛳️❤️🥂👍😃

  9. Great tip Alex – at Mottram this Sunday Monday and looking forward to trying it down the 18th !! Looks great .. maybe drop by for a quick tip or two 😉 or a lesson when I struggle 😂

  10. Is this for driver only? I noticed most of your tips you use driver but isn’t it quite different swing than for irons? Would be great to see this also for irons and then again short vs long irons.

  11. Alex in regards to the hack to externally rotate shoulder and internally rotate forearm and wrist at set up to get the feel, do you actually do this when playing or is this just a drill just to get the feel? Thanks for the tips!!

  12. Alex, thanks for the tip and drills on the right elbow. I have been coming over the top since coming back from right shoulder surgery. I will take it to the range this morning.

  13. Hogan's elbow saved my golf game period! Halted over the top, increased my club head speed up 5-8mph., away more accuracy ( fused with correct alingment, and left wrist-club at impact ). Now enjoying golf 10-15 shots over after 18 holes.

  14. Great move, I think AMs struggle with it because they hold a lot of tension in arms and shoulders and when they do practice they don’t give themselves “permission” to experiment and feel that move. Hard to pull that move off consistently with rigid shoulders & arms. Good video 🤘🏻

  15. adding this to my "must watch again in 2022" list … I've developed a problem on the "follow through" part of my swing.. playing right handed .. my left elbow has been "punching" me in the left ribs on the post impact follow through.. I can't seem to get it to stop.. any ideas?

  16. I do this swing after reading hogan’s 5 lessons book. My irons have never been better in terms of ball striking but i’ve started slicing my driver and it’s so frustrating

  17. At 2:50, why didn’t I ever think of doing that? Setup in the slot, then swing though to get the correct feeling. Great concept and makes 100% sense.

  18. Wow, tried that on the range yesterday, nothing went right (i am right handed) Same on course today. I just need to trust it and aim on the right side of fairway.

  19. Hmmm … the Cameron Champ move which puts extra strain on the spine. Look forward to chronic sciatic pain or worse. Champ already has has back issues …
For goodness sake golfers grow up and park your destructive testosterone, or suffer like me in later life from the effects of simultaneous spine bending and torsion which is what this inside shoulder rotation creates.

  20. Hi Elliot,
this is a great swingtip. I had my best driver shots ever. Could i use this also for short irons.
    Best greatings from Bavaria.
    Otto

  21. this elbow move ,along with a bowed wrist is all there is too it bro, why make it harder ,forget weight shift bla ,bla ,bla ,lead with the right elbow and keep on turning in the downswing and compression is guaranteed ,thanks great video

  22. I tried this Alex, but I am either hooking it (which I rarely do) or I block it out right! Any tips? maybe I just need to work on it.
