  1. Great video once again. Will definitely add this to my practice routine. Thank you guys.

  2. I really love your swing drills. I use the perpetual motion one to warm up regularly. So much better than swing aids/tools that you can't use during the round. I wish the weather here would finally settle down so I can get out there and play!

  3. Hi Shawn! I seem to be struggling with shots off the heel of the club. Mostly with my irons, but occasionally even my driver shots all seem to be near the heel.

I'm sure it's a combination of things (weight getting too much towards my toes, distance from ball at address, trying to shake old baseball instincts of the sweet spot being in-line with the shaft, who knows). What drills/videos would you recommend for somebody who always seems to have the club head too far from the body at impact?

  4. I always looked at people swing and kind of saw people at the course that slice the ball always stumble into the ball. I am a ball looker hate to admit, but I’ve found hitting the inside back quadrant works for me. I know you’re more about the intermediate point. But depending on shot shape are you thinking about what part of the ball you want to strike?

  5. Great video and content as always Shawn I’ve struggled with balance because of the issues you mentioned , focusing on the ball not the target and the old OVER SWINGING

  6. I will definitely implement this into my swing. I occasionally hit the ball directly into the ground off the tee but I haven’t determined if it’s the result of sliding forward and hitting down on the ball or not enough forward lateral movement and topping it. Happens a couple times a round and very frustrating. Thanks for all the great videos Shawn and you’re thoughts on this problem is very much appreciated.

  7. Hey Shawn. I’ve been trying out the swing thought/drill that you’ve had on your channel where you basically close the face at address to I think, force yourself, to hit down on it to compress the ball better. I had been doing this for a couple weeks and I have been striking the ball better but, my spin loft has gotten crazy high. Out of curiosity I opened the face drastically, like wide open, and this forced me to to turn and get a lot of lag and I fixed my spin loft. Have you tried a drill of this sort before or does this make sense to you?

  8. Brilliant as always Shawn! I'm imagining a movie or SNL skit with the hilarious Will Farrell as Mr. Clement and Sav played by Shailene Woodley ✌🏌️‍♂️🙌 p.s. I tried this stacked finish and it looks great and balanced on level lies but don't forget to adjust your swing for uphill and downhill lies, etc.

  9. Stop teasing, lol. Tell us how Mu went. What was his long drive? What sort of reception did he get from the other competitors?

  10. Exquisite is certainly the correct adjective for this drill. I play to a 12 handicap from the Senior tees and I practiced this two-swing stability drill before every shot today. Results … 9/13 drives in play, 10 greens in regulation including 3 of 5 par 3's, 5 out of 8 pitch/chip shots up and down with 1 putt. I'll definitely be making this a regular part of my pre-shot routine! Thanx Shawn, Sav, & Mu for your outstanding instruction videos!

  11. I love ya’lls videos. You all are always so inspiring when it comes to a fluent golf swing. Balance is so important in everything we do. So many player try to rush through the golf swing instead of letting their natural momentum help them. My daughter and I are both lefties and we love watching Sav and Mu swing. Keep posting great videos, you guys are awesome!!!!

  12. Shawn, just thought I'd let you know that a 78yr old from Royal Birkdale GC, England got through to the last 8 of our Captain's Prize over the Easter weekend. 5 rounds in 3 days with 2 Rounds per day Match play off the very back Tees. I've been a follower for 3/4 years now and using the "cutting the grass" technique enabled me to concentrate on nothing else. It was only exhaustion that beat me and I was so happy that my technique held up under heavy pressure. As an example, I was hitting Driver to Par 3s of 190yds into 25mph wind vs 6iron from my opponents. You're the man!

  13. Man I got to say. I’ve been dumbfounded. Idk if I’ve been tuning it out or what but you do talk about the release mechanism. I never release the club, never. So I thought about it after the video I watched of yours talking about release. Went to the range today, I found what I was doing when I hit half swing 250 yard drives. I wasn’t releasing. Yes I snapped the majority of them but I wanted to just test it. Dude I could hook the ball no lie with a 45 degree open face. I tried to hit it harder with the release but I have to get my matchups down. But I was punching drives 225-250. You have completely added a new flight to my ball never thought was possible. I’m going to definitely sign up

  14. Hi very proud of more how did you doing what was his longest yard and where did he place congratulation👍🏾⛳️❤️

  15. One of your main swing tips helps me have very consistent contact – that is to "let the arms fall" in the downswing. It's amazing how that helps, and how the body naturally speeds the hands up through impact as a result.

  16. This finally gives a purpose to my many going-no-where practice swings. Also, congrats to Mu!

  17. Staying in balance has always been a challenge for me. I'll definitely been using this drill. I've strengthened my grip, based on your teachings and added 10-15 more yards with a draw on all my clubs. Lots of work yet to do but I'm having fun again.
