Hey guys!! Big fan of your content BTW! I have a question (hopefully it has not been asked 10000 times already)
Is it me, or this type of test is no realistic? let me explain: You test the roll and face angle on a 12foot straight putt on a perfect condition carpet with no bump and ball spike repair that is extremly fast… Require almost half of a stroke lenght that would normally be required on any public course, even in tournament condition for that distance.
Don't get me wrong, you guys are so professional and great, you have all the knowledge and the test in theory is great and nicely run. I am just wondering if the tester would get the same results in terms of face angle and ball dat in and outdoor test on a real true ''ok condition'' green around 9.5-10 speed?
Been watching MKBHD since his very very early days of Youtube and I've never been more fascinated by another content creator. His approach to unboxing reviews is on another level just way above anyone else's and his attitude is always bar none top notch. Not to mention his attention to detail and the awesome drive he has on the athletic side as well. It's been a real treat to watch his driver, iron and putter fitting on the channel. Would be super exciting to watch him record a round of golf some time. Definitely excited to see more to come from TXG as well. They're videos just knock it out of the park every time. More player fits like this. All different caliber of player, swing speeds, celebrity. It’s by far the best thing on the channel. Not a huge fan of manufacturer reps in to sell product. Seems like an infomercial. Just my 2 cents. Appreciate the free content.

The consistency and precision of MKBHD's putting stroke is remarkable.
His pace also seems to be spot on. If his green-reading comes anywhere close
to matching the accuracy of his stroke, then he'll be putting at a pro-level.

Great video for comprehending not only putter fit, but what's going on dynamically when putting.
It is almost a pity that Marques is so good at putting as it makes harder to see the benefits of getting a putter fitted. Putting is very personal, take Nicklaus for example, his body position looks very awkward, yet it works for him and he was an awesome putter.
Dr Bob Rotella's book "Putting out of your mind" is probably one of the best training aids I have ever used and Brad Faxon refers to Rotella as the master in this part of the game, if I was to give any advice it would be to read this book before getting fit for a putter. Buy a putting mat and practice what Dr Rotella is talking about.
Also the other thing I will say about the video, the type of putter grip and how that's fitted can make the single most important difference to your putting. I recently changed my grip to a Kotahi tear drop grip and it's made a massive difference in the consistency of where and how I place my hands on the putter. I use a Tour Edge Wingman putter which has a slight curve on the face which increases MOI by creating a squaring of the face at off centre hits, which is not common for me now given I have embraced the ideas and concepts in Dr Rotella's book.
I really enjoyed this series with Marques, I'm definitely going to go get fitted straight thru the bag pretty soon.
