  1. This is a great instructional video. I love the thought process in how to manipulate the club to hit different shots.

  2. The skill pros like Paddy posses is other worldly, but listening to him discuss his practice habits makes me realize how much time and effort the most talented players put into honing their craft to reach their potential. Thank you for the time and insight.

  3. Proper instruction 👏🏼👏🏼 that’s one thing that annoys me when watching golf on the TV, they’ll tell you what iron they are using and not what wedge, e.g. 60,56,52

  4. the secret to your wedge play is the way you position your head so well. rory has greatly improved his short game, but you would be my short game coach if i was him.

  5. Thank you, your lessons are much appreciated and I always wish you well when I am watching you competing on the tours

  6. I've found your videos to be so practical and helpful to the developing golfer! Your language is clear and easy to understand. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of the golf swing with every video you release! Thanks so much!

  7. Paddy , you’re my favourite golf instructor . You’re the best . There’s no one else who has given so much information on all aspects of the golf game .

  8. I'm a big fan of this Gen. for a long time now. It's not only about his golf game but his positive manner on and off course. Great to have him in the golf world!

  9. paddy your videos are well-received and appreciated by all. thank you. one thing i noticed, you said never bend your knees–BUT, maybe i am not fit correctly, but in order for the entire bottom to sweep the grass and be level, i must bend my knees and lower my hands. for chipping also. so, probably i need to get fitted, but in the mean time, it works.

  10. The moving the ball forward tip is great. I am a solid iron striker and have no problem getting near/on the green but I can’t tell you how many chips I fat and putts that I miss. Adds so much on to my score. Will be trying this

  11. Thank you so much for these videos Paddy. We are just starting to golf up here in Maine and it usually takes me a month to get back into it, but after watching all your videos I’m already shooting my scores from last year. Not only that, but I feel like I’m playing much worse but completely saved by all your tips. Thank you

  12. Hi Padraig – I think a video about playing from bad lies would be great. It never fails that I end up in some patchy grass or hardpan several times a round, and I haven't found a good way to play those shots. Thanks!

  13. Hmmm…at about 3:20 , Paddy shows where in face you’re trying to hit, and his club is worn in the shape of a golf ball. That’s a lot of precise hits. About 5,000 more than I’m ever going to hit.

  14. Thank you, Mr. Harrington. Straight forward and understandable, providing many options while keeping it simple like the true master you are. You have a new subscriber smashing the thumbs up and looking forward to more content.😀

  15. Compression? I struggle to compress the ball – is it even necessary? The green keeper sends me a Christmas card every year – he loves me cos I never take one.

  16. Mr. Harrington not only are you a great golfer, you are a great teacher. Thank you so much for sharing you’re time with us so we can improve.

  17. After calibrating clubs for distance off fairway lies how does the 2d or rough change the distance for same club?

  18. Brilliant tips without too much technical jargon. I would be keen to see a lesson on knockdown shots or how to play approach shots in windy conditions. There is no doubt that you are still a force to be reckoned with in professional golf! slainte mhath!

  19. Love it … I still laugh everytime I see your channel 50,1000 subscribers.. lol a lot of golfers (mostly low markers) are so f.. vein arrogant…ignorant.. every golfer with a Handicap from 45 to +6 (so every f..one) should have subscribed to this legends channel and learnt something every month …
    Lol 👍🏽Ty paddy

  20. Actually I’ll add any pga pro who hasn’t played on the pga tour euro tour ..should be subscribed to this legends lessons … especially your club professional.. lol I know some local
Pros in my area who know f…all about the whole game of golf — best tip I hear from my very own local pro ..I’ve heard him say too many choppers at my club … you must turn the chest in sync with the arms and club 😑.. ok 👍🏽 champ ..thx here’s $70 .. gold lolol

  21. I’m pleased you clarified the “stopping the club at impact” comment. It’s not really the club face that is stopping, you don’t want the club head actually decelerating at impact, but the hands can decelerate, allowing the head to actually speed up.

    Really enjoying your videos. Thanks!

  22. First time I have watched Padraig and now subscribed. the 52 wedge idea is working for me. Took this to the range and course and works well for me. Thanks
