MY NEW DRIVER…The BEST FITTED DRIVER of 2022 | Callaway vs TaylorMade! When buying a new driver we always want to get the best driver on the market. The longest driver of 2022, the most forgiving driver of 2022, maybe the best overall driver of 2022. In this video I test the Taylormade stealth plus vs Callaway Rogue st max LS… with one huge factor. I got fitted for both of these drivers. Which one is best? Let’s find out. And let’s do it now!

Thankyou James for helping win my bet. You have proven to me and my mates that Top End Driver heads don't matter.. they come down to looks and sound. It's the shaft you get fitted with that matters….by the way what happened to the Autoflex shaft….doesn't it work as good.. I'm due to get fitted for 1 on the 20th.. $1300….are they not worth it now
I've had the rogue LS in the bag for over a month now, and is by far the best driver I've ever had! I tried stealth, cobra, mizuno, and titleist but none of those could touch the rogue for me. dispersion, numbers, carry/total all were better with callaway. and I'm seeing the same results on the course and loving it, it will be in the bag for quite along time!
Get cobra fitted
I would have liked to see is the dispersion figures of both. That would be the most important stat to me if they were so close in everything else.
James…as a mid-high handicapper with good club head speed, I'm looking for forgiveness. Distance is frequently a problem for me. I would kill to be in the rough 10 times a round, rather than being inside the tree line 3-ish times a round. So it's good to hear that the Callaway performs decently on off-center.
Just to say that these days with the limits of rules and the maxing out of technology, aside from finding what fits and suits you, including what gives you confidence- look/feel/sound – it is equally if not more important to work on your game as a whole- the nutrition side, the fitness and warm up side, the course management and planning, the shot routine, the mental side of the game, and an effective practice system. Investment in these areas will yield many many more dividends than changing drivers or clubs. Even playing with half a set will benefit some people far more because you will learn half and three quarter shots, learn creativity and feel to complement your skill set, technique and swing. Not enough focus is given to these aspects of the game. Clearly something many pros over the years have learned and emphasised vs equipment – unless you are paid to switch or promote like some are.
Any brand, the stealth is overpriced, I use a second hand Cobra, depends who is hitting any driver, lucky for people who can afford to buy and play every day, to be honest stick to one that feels comfortable and consistent.
To many off these videos saying these are the best or these are and it goes on. If people go and buy every club or driver as that is recommend they would need a second mortgage 😂
I think the Callaway will be better for both you and me. Remember what the fitter said you need to aim more right then you wouldn't have hit it in the water.
Bro! Talk about the rubber coating, I KNOW YOU GOT MARKS. …Mine does after WAY LESS use.💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Also I hit my Plus+ 340+ just yesterday (nice runout helped)😃😃😃😃
I got fitted for the Rogue ST Triple Diamond 9*
I was fitted for both as well. The Stealth plus feel and sound was night and day better for me.
I'd say, by the tracers, 2nd hole goes to the Callaway. Also, TSI owner…not a Callaway guy.
You aimed at the water ….
No way James is going to give up the gimmick of the red face i think, we'll see.
Big follower from Australia mate ! Love your videos
James, James, James….right and left with both….heads are identical. Shaft is not the best for you. I know you were fitted. Still not the correct shaft. Keep trying.
Got fitted for the Stealth and the Rogue – but Cobra LTDx was the better drier for me. A fantastic driver :o)
First drive? The Callaway was so forgiving it ended up in the rough. What a joke!
funny in a long drive on course , the ball has to be in the fairway to count , LOL 🙂
Taylor Made all day. Bought the plus last month. Hade the M5 before and the Epic Callaway before.
Hit my longest drive ever with it the stealth 312m. But like you said. There’s no bad driver out there in 2022.
LTDX LS is actually better than both
Does a 153 ball speed warrant an x flex?
