I believe four round stroke play is often just nice to watch but only becomes dramatic when someone gets hot…

If they really want to advance the game then make the hole larger and the courses shorter! Some greenskeeper back in the 1800s found a metal cylinder and this gave him the idea to weld two long handles on it. After some improvements it became the standard hole cutter. It was copied. Nothing but chance produced the standard cup size. Ridiculous.
