Bryson DeChambeau Returns to Form Following Injuries | Masters Press Conference

Bryson DeChambeau addresses the media, and discusses the recovery process following two injuries, ahead of the 2022 Masters Tournament. #theMasters

Since 1934, the Masters Tournament has been home to some of golf’s greatest moments. Amidst blooming azaleas, towering pines and flowering dogwoods, the first full week of April ushers in a stage unique to golf and to sport. Over four days and 72 holes, the smallest field in major championship golf competes for a chance to capture the Green Jacket and a place in Masters history.

  1. i hope Bryson gets back to full fitness the sport of golf needs caractors lime him for is young age he comes across as a true gent i have a lot of respect for this guy

  2. C"mon Bryson instead of trying to swat a 400 yarder go for a 350 yarder and win a 2nd Major…..their is nothing to prove everyone knows you are the King of Swat.

  3. Don't be arrogant, be humble. Playing on the PGA tour is a privilege, be humble.
When you lose be humble and accept. Owe it to yourself to be respectful to your fellow competitors and ALWAYS be humble. It will take you further in life after golf.

  4. I can see why the pros get frustrated with their media requirements. Every single question: hey, you got pain? What pain? Why pain? Injury much? Can you talk to us about your injuries? Hey I heard you were injured, what kind of injuries do you have?

  5. ill never understand the hate this man gets. some people just want to gatekeep golf I guess. this man has done and will do more for golf than his critics ever will! Go on Bryson

  6. Since he became YouTuber, this guy is a joke. Its like nakamura in chess world. No one takes him seriously anymore. Now he's more like a clown who speak and make excuses too much

  7. I heard this kid tick off on every hole and how far he could hit it before the tournament a couple of years ago. He was one of the favourites going in.

I said to myself: "Young man, this course hears such words and will eat you alive."

He failed to make the cut.

  8. Subscribe to Regecy. I used to be a Bryson hater but once you get to know him, it will be impossible to. He's a great guy!

  9. His violent swing is gonna cost him years off his career.

He needs to slow it down and work on his wedge game.

  10. Bryson going on and on about hip and hand from doing his silly long drive stuff, yet tiger who nearly lost his leg has casually gone about his business, the different between a true great and a pga pro, welcome back tiger 👍🏻🏌🏻‍♂️⛳️

  11. Funny how a dangerously smart guy that takes every aspect of golf serious is hated and compared. Let this guy play his game of golf. Every golfer works out. Just so happened he went from a twig to a brute force. This guy is amazing. Way better attitude than most in the league.

  12. I've been saying for several years now that Bryson is cutting his career short with all of this speed training and he will have nothing but injuries over and over as long as he's swinging that hard all of the time. The human body simply can't take that kind of torque for long periods of time. For all the swing speed work that he did it basically has lowered his score by an average of about a shot per round which don't get me wrong is significant, but he could have done that just by working harder on his short game and putting.

  13. Hey, press! I don’t want to hear about the cheating creep Eldrick at Brysons news conference. Eldrick thinks he can win? Sure and I’m the Easter Bunny.

  14. Usga ruining golf by limiting technology of clubs and changing rules. Stop limiting clubs it makes game boring and limiting how people play golf. At the end of the day everyone plays same club and it’s all about who’s better

  15. As much as I would LOVE to see Bryson play (love to see his drives)… i think its better to skip this one so he can heal and have better chance to win the next tournaments than get really injured here and loose a lot more. Love ya Bry!!!!!

  16. I used to dislike Bryson. Then he started revolutionizing the game and I started to actually see who he is, and I started to love him l. I still do and he keeps proving to me why.

  17. He said that time showed him that life isn't all about golf, but in the next sentence it is. Golf is life and he can't admit it.

  18. I feel you Bryson right now I am suffering through a knee fracture and I can’t play any golf until another 3 weeks it’s very hard.

  19. All the people hating on him are simply jealous because they cannot do the math nor can they hit the ball like he does. They are now trying to make certain tools that were always legal, illegal because Bryson knows how to use them and they want to gate keep golf. The NIMBYs of golf. Pretty soon they’ll make him wear a different hat and use hickory clubs

  20. I really wish I could ask some questions to him besides the injury. I definitely have great ones he would enjoy

  21. Great dude. Great youtube channel. My opinion of Bryson has changed entirely since watching his channel.

  22. People drinking haterade all day on this guy “he doesn’t talk with the media!” “He talks too much when he talks to the media!” Y’all just hate him cuz you ain’t him!!

  23. Bryson put on 60-80 lbs of mostly muscle to go test his big banger golf theory….. and then he got injured?😲

    Who would've guessed?!😔

  24. Bryson: "My time is….uh, I'm not going to be here forever."

Translation: Clearly this approach to golf has a short shelf life, so I better make the most of it while I'm young enough to pull it off.

In other words, don't try this at home kids.😉

  25. While I understand and respect the distance many golfers tend to keep from the public, its probably one of the only pro sports that we don't get stories digging into every aspect of their lives. As fans we do like to know what and how these guys think, practice, approach the game in general. Its probably just the different generation that Bryson is apart of but the level of access he is providing is really great. It opens up the interest in the sport and allows broader access especially for younger newer golfers.

  26. Don’t understand the hate on Bryson, he goes about golf in a non traditional way, who cares? Seems a nice guy to me

  27. let me hear more about how you are going to tackle this par 67 This year😂😂😂

  28. Totally agreed Zero2hero. I love how much time and thought he is willing to put into his answers. So refreshing compared to all the doe heads that just give the robot answers.
