When I was about the area I used to see the name pity me , obviously a strange name for a place might be crazy but I wonder if the originates ,from hundreds of years ago when maybe it was were they hung people or gibbited them which was even harsher .

Cheers for the look around Brancepeth Village Terry. In the early 70s we hired the village hall for a disco and had a great time. Happy days. Yes it annoys me too to see unnecessary damage to our woodlands. Why people have to resort to this sort of thing baffles me. Our woodlands are there for everyone to enjoy and respect.
