Building a Biplane: Cutting 10 Degree Wedges

The Marquart Charger requires wedges with a 10 degree angle to straighten out the surface of the swept wing spar for internal hardware. After playing with a 10 degree sled for the tablesaw (and seeing how close it got my fingers to the blade), I decided to cut the angle with a router jig. This shows the jig, describes the vacuum clamp I’m using, and shows the process of cutting one side of a wedge.
