  1. I’m starting to think I’m too old to watch/listen to this anymore. Fun and games is good and all, but goodness it’s getting out of hand a little bit.

  2. The course was pretty good for MPO. It was garbage for FPO. Great competition in FPO but obviously little to no thought was put into the FPO layout. Sounds like they didn't even design it until the last week or something. Way too many holes where almost no players were making the green in regulation, and on the other holes way too many people are making the green in regulation. Basically the distances were all wrong for FPO. There needed to be alternate baskets or better alternate tees fore FPO. Also that hole one pyramid was too gimmicky for FPO due to the lower level of putting skill vs MPO, the fact that almost none of them could reach it, and also the average player height being so much lower. And I agree that par doesn't matter so it isn't about changing the par. It's about saying what distance is a good distance that a fair amount of the field can reach it in regulation and only having a small number of holes that get much further than that. Otherwise you just get a tweener hole with little scoring separation. For example: A mostly open no OB 475 foot hole is a bad FPO hole because there will be too few birdies and too few bogies.
