As is tradition at many golf clubs up and down the country, April is a time for a changing of the guard. To say thank you to the exiting Captain’s for all their hard work and to welcome the new Captain’s, who ceremonially strike a tee shot off the first tee hopefully sailing down the fairway and into the distance.
Obviously due to the Coronavirus global pandemic, this tradition is not possible this year 🙁 However Gill Athey our new Lady Captain has been extremely creative with a home version of The Lady Captain’s Drive in, watched by a small gathering of close friends.
