The #FOREeveryone campaign is designed to make golf more inviting and open to women and girls who have never picked up a golf club before.
Sian Platt tells her story of this process when she joined Cardiff Golf Club 3 years ago. Initially Sian worried about the equipment, clothes and ability level, however thanks to the new to golf scheme, these worries were quickly dispelled.
The welcoming atmosphere and sense of community within the golf club helped Sian on her road to progressing and improving as a golfer, the same people she first played with are here friends and consistent playing partners now.
Her story is inspiring to anyone who wants to get into the game and a great example of how this is possible.
