Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy all use the interlocking grip, so why am I crazy enough to say I don’t like the interlock golf grip. Well, it mainly has to do with my years on the lesson tee watching amateur players fail to get the hands in the proper position on the golf club when trying to use the interlocking grip.
Watch the video as I explain in detail how to use the interlock grip properly as well as descriptions of the overlap grip, or Vardon grip, and 10-finger grip. You may find if you’ve been interlocking, you might want to adjust how you are holding the golf club or you might even want to abandon the interlock grip for the overlap grip or ten-finger grip.
