The recent Tokyo Olympics was the most successful ever for Hong Kong, with a record haul of six medals including only the second ever gold medal won by a Hong Kong athlete. This was the culmination of years of preparation from both the athletes, their coaches and the Hong Kong Sports Institute which oversees Hong Kong’s Olympic programme. Dr. Trisha Leahy is the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Sports Institute, delivering Hong Kong’s elite sports system.
