The Genius of Moe Norman’s Stance

Moe Norman was a genius. His genius came from his intuitive Single Plane Golf Swing. If you are a Single Planer, you should take nothing he did for granted including the way he placed his feet.

Moe aligned his feet naturally, in a radius based on the arc of the club. Similar to Ben Hogan who placed the trail foot further back for longer clubs and open for shorter clubs. I belive you must stop referring to the feet as open or closed. As a matter of fact, Moe never referenced his feet when he discussed alignment. Feet alignment is a conventional mindset. This was not how Moe discussed alignment.

In this video, I show you how the Single Plane Swing is a radius and how Moe positioned his feet relative to the arc – making his the greatest ball striker to ever live.

The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.

Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.

This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.

The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.
