Road to Stardom: Danielle Kang – Back to Back U.S. Women's Amateurs

Before she was a major champion or was representing the USA in the Solehim Cup, Danielle Kang was taking the amateur golf world by storm, winning back-to-back U.S. Women’s Amateur titles as a teenager in 2010 and 2011, and defeating fellow future stars Jessica Korda and Moriya Jutanugarn in the process. Here’s a look at how she did it.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) conducts many of golf’s most prestigious championships, highlighted by the U.S. Open, the U.S. Women’s Open and the world’s premier amateur championships. Based in Liberty Corner, N.J., the USGA governs the game in the U.S., its territories and Mexico.
