So, My day at Karachi Golf Club where we, Syeda Umme Habiba, Tahoora, Shazia and I went for press conference about 2nd SGA Ladies Amateure Golf Championship. Press briefing was quick.
For us, real fun adventure time started after the event when Gold Medalist Golfer, Ms. Najma Islam took the ground for news shoot and then that shoot turned into crash course on Golfing, the posture, movements and so on.
About the championship, (which is over by the time of posting this and as for now I don’t know the winners, I couldn’t join their Prize distribution). Lady Golf players from all over Pakistan participated this time in 3-day game.
This tournament was to “encourage” women, especially young ladies to get into the game, so it was to promote golf itself as well among new generation.
And for what I have experienced, they should give that task only two ladies, Sumeha and Najma, Sumeha manage the PR for event and she is a player herself and was competing in the tournament as well.
