Black Gold Golf Club – Hole 5

Welcome to Black Gold Golf Club Hole Overviews.

Hole 5 at Black Golf Golf Club, in my opinion, is one of the toughest holes on the course. This slightly uphill par-4 demands a great tee shot and even better approach.

The bunkers on the right come into play for most golfers and for longer hitters the bunker on the left comes into play along with the lateral hazard. Shots too far to the right bring O.B. into play.

Approach shots play slightly uphill to a green that doesn’t play how most greens on the course do (downhill). A par here feels like a birdie before the par-5 6th.

Pro Tip: Find the fairway, find the middle of the green, and try and make your par. Don’t go after anything on this hole.
