The European Tour’s Race to Dubai continues at Mount Juliet this week for the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open. An impressive field will contend for this year’s title, but who will be crowned champion? Englishman Tommy Fleetwood has only had a couple of top-10s in strokeplay events this year, but he could find the spark that ignites his season this week. Shane Lowry is now a major champion and comes into this week with three top-10s in his last five starts. For Andy Sullivan, Mount Juliet should be right up his alley and he’s coming in off a T5th in the BMW International Open last week. Martin Kaymer rattled off 10 birdies on Sunday to finish 2nd at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried and will be hoping to continue his fine form. Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy, the golden boy of Irish golf, is back supporting his home event yet again.
