Cubs fans love doing this, and the security guards HATE it. What’s the deal? Wrigley Field bleachers are rowdy! That’s the deal. It’s part of the charm on Chicago’s north side.
The Washington Nationals were in town, which meant that Kyle Schwarber and Jon Lester were back. Meanwhile this was a “Watch With Zack” game — I was with five kids and their father, and there was so much action from start to finish. We snagged a baseball outside the stadium on Waveland Avenue before the bleacher gates even opened, and we caught lots of baseballs after that on the inside during batting practice. It rained a lot. We ate lots of food. Tons of shenanigans. And we saw a great game too.
