Playing Rams Hill Golf Club in Borrego Springs, CA is one of the nicest desert courses we’ve played. At 7,247 yards from the back tees it will test every shot you have in the bag. It took us about 90 minutes to get to Rams Hill from San Diego but it was well worth the drive. The course in situated in a small community in the middle of the desert, making it serene and quiet but with all the creature comforts you expect from a golf club. If you’re looking for a course thats off the beaten path to get you away from the city this is certainly it. We recommend renting a house in the neighborhood and staying a night so you can enjoy the evening with family/friends before you hit the links. We saw one of the most amazing sunsets the night we were there.
