The Altra Lone Peak 5 trail shoe is a great addition to the lineup. In this review we cover the changes that have been made, as well as the aspects of the shoe that make it a staple in the Altra trail shoe series. The Altra Ego midsole is a great addition to an already amazing shoe and the quick-dry upper is breathable and fast-drying.
I have used several different Altra trail shoe models and this one may be my new favorite! I plan to use it in the IMTUF 100 mountain race that acts as a qualifier for the Hardrock 100. Altra paves the way with their zero-drop shoes and the Lone Peak 5.0 does not disappoint.
