Ian Poulter's son dislocates knee during junior tournament, manages to make bizarre birdie

Ian Pouter said: “What a bizarre birdie from Luke Poulter on his last hole today, paramedics were called at The Dye Junior Invitational. He was 8 over for his first 9 holes and lying about last. He has gone on to play the next 27 holes bogey free 7 under to be 2 off the lead with 1 round to go. Now this gets strange he lipped out for eagle and finished a foot from the pin on this the 9th hole his 36th of the day. He went to his knees as he thought he holed it and dislocated his left knee. Paramedics were called and they repositioned the knee cap and he finished the tap in birdie. Not sure right now if by icing and compression will allow him to compete tomorrow in the last round. To play bogey free for 27 holes at Crooked Stick was incredible. I’m glad no serious damage to report. If he can’t play tomorrow he will rest and rehab and get this show back on the road. Eventful day in the life of the Poulter’s”.
