This video is about KastKing Resolute Fishing Rod & Reel Combos Ft American Tackle Microwave Air Guides at Academy Sports + Outdoors. There’s casting combos and spinning combos. KastKing Resolute series are IM7 graphite rods, high carbon content, very light, extremely sensitive. The guide sets that KastKing is using on the new Resolute series are American Tackle Guides called Microwave Air. They have a guide within a guide. As the loops of line come off your spinning reel and hit that first guide set in that stripping guide, it pinches it down, reduces that wobble through the rest of the guides, increases your range, and your casting distance. It’s really an incredible feature. Once you use a Microwave Air Guide it’s really hard to go back to a standard guide set.
Golf Grip Handles
Resolute rods also feature the SuperPolymer handles. It’s kind of like a golf grip. A rubberized material, very soft, very comfortable slip resistant even when they’re wet.
Casting Rod Models
In the Resolute casting combos there are IM7 blanks, high carbon, very light and sensitive. There’s a 7’ 3” heavy action rod or flipping, pitching or throwing big worms in fresh or saltwater. It’s a powerful rod and you will love the value at Academy.
The Baitcasting Reel
The reel matched up on this combo is an awesome reel. It’s a 6.6:1, 7 +1 ball bearing reel. It’s extremely smooth with magnetic braking. It has 12 lbs of drag.
There’s also a 7 foot medium heavy.
