How To Fix Yips In Putting

I know something about putting yips because it was a condition I had as a young man. It was so embarrassing that I would not play golf with others. I had no control over the jolts that caused me to lose control of the putter at impact. What started as a small twitch, developed into a complete lack of confidence and control of my putting stroke.

The affliction turned out to be a blessing, as it led to the formation of the technique that not only prevented jolts from occurring but created an extremely stable putting stroke that can be used by golfers at any level of proficiency. It has been used to earn two #1 rankings for a year in putting on the PGA Tour.

That technique is DynAlign, which is dynamic pre-shot alignment. DynAlign is based upon a universal mechanical principle which is found in any type of machinery, whether purely mechanical or biomechanical. In order for parts to perform consistent repetitive motion, the tolerance between moving parts must be reduced.

The basic DynAlign principle can be applied to more than putting, as it can be applied to all types of golf shots to give a player improved control of clubface angle at impact. Putting is the most basic form of the technique, so it is the best place to start learning the technique.
