Drills I Use to Build Confidence in My Golf Game!

Hi Everyone! As most of you know, I had a tournament this past weekend and the day before I did a short 1.5hr practice session. I thought I’d bring the camera along to give you some insight into the types of drills I like to do to build confidence in my game prior to a big round.

It’s important to mentioned that these drills are very different from your standard swing-training, shot-shaping, and game improvement drills you can find out there. Instead these are very easy shots that I execute do build confidence with the types of shots I expect to have in my golf round.

Drill 1: Short irons and wedges to practice distance control, alignment, routine, and contact.

Drill 2: Chipping with three different clubs to practice high chips, mid chips, and bump and runs.

Drill 3: 3-foot putts to build confidence with crucial short putts.

Drill 4: Bunker shots of varying distances to get a feel for the sand.
