By not swinging as hard, it’s easier to find the center of the club face, which is where ball speed is created. Most amateurs swing too hard in an effort to find distance, causing them to mishit the ball and lose distance instead of gain it.
Take some time and practice swinging easier, and you will find that you hit the ball further!
