Recently, I got a chance to visit Stone Eagle Golf Club in Palm Desert, California. The golf course was designed by world-renowned golf architect Tom Doak. You may know Doak’s work from famous golf courses such as Pacific Dunes in Oregon, Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand, and the Blue Course at Streamsong Resort located in Florida. Stone Eagle is a private golf club nestled within the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument while being surrounded by acres of protected land.
