Golf Strength Training Workouts

In this video, there are two strength training sessions which can be used to help improve your golf. The sessions are focused around movement patterns such as, squat, hinge, press, pull. Mostly focusing on strength, with a couple of power based exercises included.
Most training for golf should focus on the ‘basic’ movement patterns. Improving movement and strength in some exercises like the ones in these sessions can provide the foundation to your golf training.
You can then add ‘golf relevant’ or ‘golf specific’ exercises to help your golf swing. This could be work with the speed sticks, for example.
