The thought of staying in the gym sounds pretty good, but that’s only because you know you can leave. When you’re down in that basement for days, you hear every creak…every drip of water…and you start to begin to understand how alone you are. This is not for everyone. It’s not even for those who we deem “committed.” To withstand this desolation, you’ve got to be obsessed.
