If I never make another video, THIS one, is by far my favorite. Golf in black and white is long gone, but I decided that this video deserved to be special, since I’m playing with vintage clubs. I hope all of you enjoy watching this course vlog with classic golf equipment as much as I enjoyed making it.
Modern day golf has changed so much in the last several decades, but in many more ways than just the clubs. Balls, courses, rules, attire, and even the swing itself are completely different than before. Golfers today are hitting the ball further than ever before, but we, as amateurs and average players, haven’t improved our scores that much, if any at all.
A generally accepted premise is that the golf clubs from decades ago have no chance of performing for us like the latest and greatest golf technology being sold today. Artificial intelligence is being implemented in designing clubs now, and there’s absolutely no way that some old and worn out sticks from days gone by can keep up, right?
There are a lot of videos out with pros and amateurs playing with vintage clubs all over YouTube, but I’ve never seen a course vlog in black and white, so I believe this is a first. Going forward, based on how this is received, I may be using this format more often, and I may just end up playing antique golf clubs even more than my modern day equipment.
