After the round being shocked by the way different feeling Cleveland Frontline 8.0 single bend putter I wanted to share my initial thought. One thing I did not mention is that I consider the Cleveland brand as one that is way more reasonable priced.
My beginner putter the Skymax Pulse was great vallue for money and brought me 11 birdies up to now. I could feel that one and that meant reasonable steady outcome for my level of play. That had quite some toe hang. This Frontline putter is face balanced and that difference was for me quite a big change of feeling. So there is some time needed to get to the level of feel what I had but I believe in this putter and the sound I already love.
For the ones who … stay on my vids … on this same day I’ve done of course a lot of other things to train in the golf swing. So some added pitching practice was added too.
Amsteldijk golf training center is absolutely the best place to do so. I am a volume hitter and here one can go all out. By the way … more people should hit way more balls than of what I hear sometimes people do. 50 balls is nothing. In basketball hundreds of shots are taken even after practice and in tennis the same thing. Culture in golf is still pretty strange for me sometime. Of course … I did get a blister … but … have tape with me so … tape it and continue.
