HUNSTANTON GOLF CLUB, The course was first designed in 1891 and was significantly altered in 1907 with the addition of 40 bunkers following designs by James Braid. The club hosted its first senior amateur event hosting the British Ladies Amateur Golf Championship in 1914, and the English Ladies Open in 1922. Following this the club hosted the English Amateur for the first time in 1931.
