Brendan McDaid has been coaching golf since 1984 after he qualified as a PGA Pro European Tour Coach and is ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top three coaches in Ireland.
His students include absolute beginners, low handicap golfers, elite amateurs and European Tour players such as Peter Lawrie, with whom he was the head coach for several years.
Brendan played professionally on the European Tour in 1989 and after leaving the Tour, he solely focused on coaching as he found this most rewarding.
