Phil Mickelson tees off at the 18th at Liberty National GC in Jersey City, NJ, during the Tuesday practice round for the 2013 Barclays golf tournament. His ball apparently went left, but Phil kept a big smile on his face.
Also in Phil’s foursome were Charley Hoffman (almost unrecognizable after a rare haircut), Jeff Overton, and Brendan Steele. And of course Phil was attended by his long-time caddie, Jim “Bones’ Mackay.
As Phil and his group stride up the 18th, we see the modern clubhouse and, in the background, landmarks of the New York City skyline, including the Empire State Building, the Freedom Tower (under construction and nearing completion) at the World Trade Center, and the back of the Statue of Liberty.
