Axis1 Putters Offer Proven Technology

The patent office does not hand out patents to everyone who applies for one. It must be proven that the subject of the patent is unique and never been seen before.

When the PING Anser putter was patented for heel and toe weighting in 1967 and introduced to the golf world, it was considered to be too odd looking for most people. Now, every major putting manufacturer has an Anser style putter and nearly every golfer has or has had an Anser style putter.

Axis1 putters are patented for having the center of gravity located in the center of the striking face and in line with the axis of the shaft. This unique design prevents gravity from pulling the face open as a putter is put into motion.

Just like the PING putters, Axis1 putters might be considered too odd looking to be acceptable. Eventually, they will be accepted as mainstream because they are designed with a proven advancement in putter technology.
