GOLF COURSE VLOG – MERLIN GOLF CLUB – PART 5
In todays video I meet up with fellow Buccaneers Neal Allen and John Badger Griffiths and we play a full round at MERLIN GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB, NEAR MAWGAN PORTH, IN CORNWALL.
Neal and I played here late last year and loved it.
It’s a Heathland hill top course well worth visiting, and a bit of a hidden gem in our books.
The staff and the members have been lovely every time we visit and we cant wait to go back again.
Close to Mawgan Porth and only a short drive from Padstow, the course is easily accessible from the A30 and only 5 mins from Newquay’s international airport. The course is designed to suit all standards of golfer, with no long carries for the higher handicapper whilst maintaining a challenge for the lower handicap golfer, especially in the wind!.
The course is now a match for the County’s finest. With a new patio overlooking the 18th green, with a friendly and comfortable Club House serving fine ales and good food
Merlin Golf club also have beautiful contemporary holiday apartments available for you to enjoy at the course. They sleep from 2 – 6 and enjoy breathtaking views along the north cornish coast.
