Tuesday Traces with Director of Sports Science: Phil Stotter

Join us for a special webinar with V1 Sports’ Director of Sports Science and Biomechanics expert Philip Stotter.

Phil has 25 years of clinical practice and research in both the medical and sports industries. Phil leverages his experience and knowledge to create a strong platform of education, understanding, and application for the V1 Pressure Mat.

In this webinar, Phil will talk about the practical application of ground pressure for both golf and baseball coaches. Together with V1 Sports’ Sales Manager Mandy Von See, Phil will discuss the theory of ground mechanics including the importance of measuring and analyzing a golfer’s and baseball athlete’s ground forces in order to improve. They will provide an overview of the V1 Pressure Mat and the three forces it measure: pressure, vertical force, and velocity.

“Bridging the gap in communication and interpretation of what’s going on between coach and player is critical to enhance the performance of the player. Whether a player is hitting, throwing, or fielding, ground pressure analysis allows the coach an equally important perspective, to interpret and understand what they cannot see,” says Phil. “The use of ground pressure analysis allows a coach to interpret the players’ ‘feel’ through clear-cut pressure and force data.”
