I take to the track in Castle Combe’s GT series for my first races of 2021 at the Howards Day event. With the races being held behind closed doors, I’m happy to share with you the great footage we managed to capture, thanks to Jon (linked below).
The Honda Civic Type R EP3 has not been upgraded over the winter, and some parts have needed some TLC, but it was important to find the issues we experienced so we can change the car before our next event.
Even though the Honda is lonely in its class, we managed to have a great multiple lap battle with an amazing Ferrari 355 Berlinetta driven by 3 Ray Ferguson. Congratulations to all the winners over the Howards day weekend. Full results can be seen on TSL timing. The 1st GT race was won by Oliver Bull in his 2.3l Vauxhall Tigra. The 2nd race, won by Chris Everill in his Ginetta G55.
Our next race should be at Lydden Hill on the 24th of April in the CMMCS, then after that, we are unsure of the next steps. But once restrictions ease and spectators are allowed, please come and say hi in the paddock 🙂
