A club board member has spoken anonymously to Sky Sports about the proposals for a European Super League. The individual is a board member at one of the club’s set to be a part of the new league, and revealed that ESL’s main focus is revenue, with the sustainability of football being a secondary concern. The individual also revealed that club’s DON’T want players to be playing international football, and that board members within the founding club’s were not all in agreement about joining the ESL.
