The ground game in general was excellent for the Wolverines. Hassan Haskins had 6 carries for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns, Zach Charbonnet had 4 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, Blake Corum had 5 carries for 21 yards, and Chris Evans had 5 carries for 19 yards and a touchdown.
Michigan was of course without Nico Collins since he opted out. Ronnie Bell led the team and took on that leadership role with 4 grabs for 74 yards.
Rashod Bateman had a nice game with 9 receptions and 101 yards, but his help did not assist much in the effort. Basically, Michigan gave Bateman his and limited everyone else. Mohamed Ibrahim crushed Michigan on the ground with a 5.4 yards per carry average, 140 yards and two touchdowns, but in the end it was not enough. Hopefully Michigan Football will sure that up moving forward.
