As #GolfFans and business owners (shameless plug Four Seasons Talent), having more prospects and opportunities to recruit and support clients across the country is a massive WIN. With “FORE” Business Golf Networking you can include a round of golf too, then it’s a no brainer.
And that’s what we did!
Our 2nd month in with “FORE” Business and we’ve never played as much golf on amazing courses and met with so many business owners. With over 1600 members in the UK alone, who are predominately decision makers within their own business, it’s a perfect place to enjoy a round and make deals.
With millions of pounds of business being done annually the monthly fee will pay for itself if you get involved with the Facebook Groups, golf events, full app with member lists and of course, making the most of your 4 balls.
As we’re corporate members, we get a golf event at Pleasington, a 4 ball there too, and the opportunity to visit another course each month. This month it was Formby Hall Golf Course, for those following us on Instagram. It’s worth way more than the membership alone and that’s before we look at the new business side.
And then there’s Pleasington Golf Club. A private club with a course that’s immaculate with the fastest greens I’ve played on (see video for more details of 5 putts.) A great practice facility with greens that match the course and enough nets to get you firing on that first.
The bar and kitchen staff are great too, with a well-stacked bacon barm beforehand as you network and have 60 seconds to talk about your business. Then a smile as you order a cold pint to soothe those aching joints and those golfing sorrows.
Following all this, there’s a great opportunity to chat over a drink and a prize giving for the nearest the pin and overall winner. I’m fortunate enough to have won at Formby Hall with a Red winners polo on its way.
For us it’s a perfect blend of the game we love and the company that pays our bills. As we can do both together, it’s a Win-Win from us.
