Ronald Otile started round two trailing joint leaders Adolf Muhumuza and Joseph Cwinyaai by three shots. He ended the round with what looks like an unassailable five-shot lead.
After three-putting hole one and settling for a par, Otile found form on holes 5 and 6 with back-to-back birdies. He would go on to hit three more birdies on holes 8, 11 and 13. At the end of it all, two bogeys had not taken the gloss off his round two score of 69.
